Joseph N. Quintal


Joseph N. Quintal has been a practicing attorney in Texas for over 34 years, with more than 20 years of dedicated experience in the Eminent Domain field. For much of his career, he was the lead Eminent Domain litigation attorney for the City of Houston, where he gained extensive experience and a thorough understanding of the real estate acquisition process. His vast experience working with real estate appraisers, land planners, engineers, architects and other experts during the handling of hundreds of Condemnation cases over the years makes him uniquely qualified to help property owners obtain just results when land is being taken by the Condemning Authority’s use of Eminent Domain.

He has been involved in the negotiation of Eminent Domain cases in excess of $500,000 – $1 million. In addition, he has analyzed and prepared opinion memos concerning proposed Eminent Domain legislation over the last seven legislative sessions.

Mr. Quintal graduated from University of Houston with a B.A. in Political Science in 1980 and continued his education at the University of Houston Law Center, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1982.
